An inclusive primary school in Hackney is seeking a dedicated individual to provide vital support to students with diverse learning difficulties in Year 3/4, helping them reach their full potential in a structured and nurturing environment.

Role Overview:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Hackney
• Interview Date: Immediate
• Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term 
• Salary: £102 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant who:

• Has experience supporting children with SEND, including autism, speech and language difficulties, or complex learning needs.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Can provide both one-on-one and small-group support to enhance learning and social development.
• Works collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a supportive educational environment.
• Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to helping students develop confidence and independence.

Your Responsibilities:

• Offer individualised support to students, helping them engage with lessons and achieve their learning goals.
• Assist in developing and implementing personalised learning strategies tailored to each student’s needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and social skills development.
• Work alongside teachers to modify classroom activities and ensure accessibility for all learners.
• Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive school environment where students feel supported and motivated.
