Daily Rate: £100 – £125
Position: Nursery Assistant (Level 3 Qualified)
Contract Type: Temporary/Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote the development of children.
  • Support children in their daily routines, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to individual development plans.
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the nursery team to ensure high standards of care and education.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with nursery-aged children in a similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A nurturing and patient approach, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
