Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Hackney – Immediate Start 
 
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive team at a school in Hackney. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development, working alongside teachers to deliver high-quality education within a safe and engaging learning environment. 
 
Pay: £90-£105 per day 
Location: Hackney 
Start Date: November 
Interview Date: ASAP 
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons across a range of subjects. 

• Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to help students achieve their learning goals. 

• Support the social and emotional development of students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. 

• Help prepare and organise classroom resources and materials to meet diverse student needs. 

• Contribute to the overall safety, well-being, and academic progress of students under your care. 

• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to create an environment where all students feel supported and valued. 

 
Requirements: 

• A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. 

• Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within primary schools. 

• A genuine passion for education, with a commitment to promoting student achievement and well-being. 

• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and build positive relationships with students and staff. 

• An understanding of the challenges faced by students with additional learning or social needs is highly desirable.
