Key Stage 1 Teacher – Haringey – Immediate Start 
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a warm and inclusive school community in Haringey. This school is recognized for its child-centred approach and commitment to nurturing every student’s unique strength’s. With a collaborative and supportive teaching team, the school provides a positive environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, and academic growth. 
 
Pay: £180.00 – £250.00 per day 
Location: Haringey 
Start date: January
Interview date: ASAP 
 
Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, emphasizing literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills. 
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and a love of learning. 
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning needs and abilities. 
  • Assess and monitor student progress through various assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support development. 
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience for each child. 
  • Participate actively in school meetings, events, and professional development to stay informed about new teaching practices and curriculum changes. 

 
Qualifications/Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. 
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. 
  • Experience or a strong interest in teaching Key Stage 1 students. 
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster an engaging and structured learning environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. 
  • A commitment to helping young learners thrive and reach their full potential.
