Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted intervention support to students in Year 4 and 5, focusing on social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of intervention programs tailored to individual student needs.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students feel valued and supported.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as necessary.
- Support students in developing essential social skills and coping strategies.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and motivation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting, preferably in an SEMH context.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies to support SEMH students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing situations.
- A genuine passion for supporting the development of students with diverse needs.
