A specialist school in Islington is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their team. Job Title: Food Technology Teacher
Location: Islington, London
Contract: Full-time | Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: MPS/UPS 

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Tailor learning to meet a wide range of abilities and needs
• Foster independence and confidence through cooking and nutrition education
• Manage a fully equipped food tech classroom and support students with both accredited and non-accredited learning pathways
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other specialists to ensure inclusive, high-quality provision

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS/QTLS
• Experience teaching Food Technology or DT, ideally within a specialist or mainstream school setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and a positive, adaptable teaching style
• A genuine interest in working with children and young people with additional needs
