Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote the development of children.
- Support children in their daily routines, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to individual development plans.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the nursery team to ensure high standards of care and education.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with nursery-aged children in a similar setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A nurturing and patient approach, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
